Wicked Wednesday – Jade’s Back

The title of this post is something of a pun.

All red and stripey!

Yep, that’s my back. (Get the pun?)

But it’s also the title because, yes, I’m back, in a shiny new home, doing shiny new things. ;-)

So what have I been up to in the past two+ months? Well, besides trying to get the new site done? I did a little bit of that up there. ^^^^ But truthfully, not too much. A few scenes here and there, a lovely, romantic, holiday with W (romance that involved a bit of rope, some public exhibitionism, a set of heart-shaped cunt-locks, shackles, my Njoy and some new whips I got him for Christmas. I know, “romance is relative.”) ;-) I also shot a video with a local photographer friend (a first!) I’ll share posts about both adventures here soon, and maybe even a video clip. The above was actually the culmination of an intense and splendid whipping scene that W and I did after that shoot, as a matter of fact.

But other than that, mostly we all hunkered down and worked.

The end of the year is a busy time for W, as he does his year-end accounting, and that almost always runs into January, and what he calls his “January funk.” I’ve learned to make myself scarce during that time, as he likes time alone to work on this necessary evil. So I went up to Wichita to visit my daughter-in-law and granddaughter, spent lots and lots of time with the Missy and Boychild, worked on the blog, made New Year goals, and got a start on fulfilling some of them (this blog and monthly writing submissions, to name a few. I’m pleased to say I finished and sent off two submissions in January, and I’m on-target for my February submission as well.)

So all in all, while it’s not been a terribly exciting year yet, it has been busy!

And, even though I whined an awful lot about not getting my kink on enough, truthfully…the hiatus from the blog was good for me. It recharged me creatively and emotionally, and now that we’ve gotten thru the agony of getting it together, I’m readier than ever to get back to playing, writing, and writing about playing.

Let the New Year begin!
