Wicked Wednesday – Romance
Rebel’s theme this week was “romance” (or Valentine’s Day) and how we celebrate it. This series wasn’t taken on Valentine’s Day, but it does embody some of the romance in W’s and my relationship – and in an odd way, in our three-way relationship.
It was our first morning at the Harrington Inn. I had slept the night before in heels.
W was up first, for a change, and he saw that it had snowed. He knows how much I love snow, and he called me out of bed to come take a look.
My first thought was that I had to share it with Ad. “Take a picture of the snow!” I said. “I want to send it to Ad.”
“I’ll do better than that,” he said. “I’ll take a picture of you out in the snow. He’ll like that much better.”
So he did.
And Ad did.
And that’s our romance.
Checking to see if there were any other early risers outside.
“Go on out,” W said.
“It’s cold out here!”
“All right, come back in. I’ll warm you up.”

I have always enjoyed and admired the way the 3 of you are intertwined and I think this post demonstrates that perfectly. Even when not together as a 3, you are still a 3, if that makes sense. I truly admire that.

Snow! That’s something I’ve seen only a few times in my life – it looks very cold indeed – needs a Jade for warming up, definitely :)
