Oh. My. God. Can you believe it’s the very last day of the month, and I am just now posting my August Calendar Challenge???

Of course you can. I’m nothing if not consistently inconsistent. ;-)

So what does August mean to me?

Then there’s Missouri’s many swimming holes. I mean, what else is there to do to cool off when the temperatures stay above 95 degrees for days on end?

A favorite place is Johnson Shut-Ins State Park in southeastern Missouri, in the Ozarks.

We arrive at the Shut-Ins.
