This week’s Sinful Sunday has a prompt: abstraction. I wasn’t planning anything for it, not being artistic, or fancying myself a photographer, but this image, that I was playing with to send to W since I am away dogsitting, turned out pretty abstract accidentally. The “palms” are fake palms in the guest room that light up at night – really quite prettily – and I was trying to get the brilliant colored lights to color my skin. I failed at it (again – no photographer / camera phone), but, what the heck, it works for this week’s theme, I think.

Today is also the first day of Molly’s February Photofest Challenge – one photo each day of the month – that I participated in last year. It was a lot of fun, and kept me amused and sane during a rough time, so while I am not committing to doing it every day this year, I’m going to give it a try.

This is lovely – like you’ve just been discovered in the jungle – I can imagine you scuttling off into the forest, and we’re left wondering if really saw you at all… so evocative :D
